MSHS PTSA 2009-2010 Grant Awards |
|
Mount Si High School PTSA recently awarded more that $4200.00 in grant funds to MSHS staff from various departments. One grant, submitted by math teacher, Melanie Breitbach, will fund two days of after-school math help, a program that was eliminated this year due to budget cuts. The grants are funded solely by donations from PTSA members and the local community. With additional donations, the after-school math help program could be expanded to 3 or 4 days. Contributions can be made to MSHS PTSA, 8651 Meadowbrook Way, Snoqualmie, WA 98065. MSHS PTSA is a non-profit organization and contributions are tax deductible. |

Just because our kids are older and in high school now doesn't mean that there aren't opportunities for us to stay connected to the school and our kids! Make a difference by volunteering at Mt. Si High School in 2010. You can volunteer for as much or as little time as you are able! We are putting together a "Volunteer Bank" and will contact you with more information. Please take a moment to fill out our Volunteer Survey. Thank you for your help in making Mt. Si High School even better! Click here to make a difference! |

Parent Visitation day is on February 25th |
|
You can go for 3 periods in the morning or in the afternoon. Technically you "follow" your student but my child is built more for speed than I am so I hardly saw her. I really encourage parents to take advantage of this unique to see your child's education in action. They have some really great conversations in the classroom and the kids are wonderful to us "oldies". Plus just think of the impact this day can have on teachers and students alike. Yes, we, as parents, do care about education! Sign up with Ken Grant at kenandtina@comcast.net today! |
