Graduation Volunteers needed! Friday June 11 |
MSHS PTSA is looking for volunteers to direct traffic, both cars in the parking lot and people in the stadium, plus sell water (a major fundraiser for us--yay!). You don't have to stay for the ceremony, but it's recommended that you're there by 4 if you want to park on site. This is a huge help for the school--there's a lot of people and we want our graduates and their families to have a great experience! Please contact Liz Piekarczyk at lizpiekarczyk@yahoo.com or Beth Burrows at bkburrows@msn.com as soon as possible if you can help. |

THANKS TO ALL OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS! |
Last week was National Volunteer Week, and we want to take this chance to thank all our wonderful volunteers! You have handed out schedules and grades, baked and cooked, planted and picked up trash, advocated for kids, raised money for teacher grants, educated parents, handled our finances, made teacher gifts, organized activities, and too many other things to mention. All of the time you spend volunteering helps all of our kids. Thanks for all that you do! |

Congratulations to our First Award winners! |
Co-President Beth Burrows accepted a well-deserved Golden Acorn Award at Monday night's meeting. Edina Kecse-Nagy (German teacher) is our first recipient of the Outstanding Educator award. Mrs. Kecse-Nagy was nominated by fellow staff members and her students, she is a shining example of the many wonderful teachers at MSHS. Remember to vote for your favorite educator next year! |
